DotGreen is run by a staff of dedicated volunteers in Greenbrae, Marin County, California. The successful development of the project is carried out by collaborating with professionals experienced in ICANN policy, Internet technology, global environmental and humanitarian solutions, marketing, finance and law. DotGreen benefits from a growing network of enthusiastic members, students and sponsors around the world.

DotGreen helps individuals, communities and industries to go green by promoting the green movement and supporting environmental organizations and projects for the health and future of people and planet. According to the corporation, shared community experiences such as environmental and climactic events have the potential to affect the entire human population. For the first time in human history, with the ever-expanding reach of the Internet, it is possible for a simultaneous and global green consciousness to exist in real time. DotGreen will give citizens around the world, regardless of cultural borders, an opportunity to find a path towards sustainability.
