New gTLD Application System Temporarily Suspended

ICANN has just announced that it has shut down TAS, the new gTLD application system. TAS will remain closes until Tuesday at 23:59 UTC. Consequently the application period has been extended until Friday, 20 April 2012, 23:59. Originally 12 April 2012 would have been the last day to submit a gTLD application.

The suspension will most likely affect the Reveal Day previously moved to 30 April 2012.
